Known for its Southern charm, vibrant music scene and distinctive culture, Mississippi ranks No. 19 out of 50 states on our 2024 Senior Living Report. The Magnolia State earned high marks for its low median assisted living rate of just $3,500 per month, which is $1,000 below the nationwide median.
